Job Description :

As an Site Accountant Specialist at Mapa, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records as per IFRS standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities on the site. You will work closely with project and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial operations, cash flow reporting, and ERP-based accounting processes. You will be flexible to work in remote site locations with company-provided facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project / site financial transactions including accounts payable, receivable, inventory and petty cash.
• Managing records, adjustments, and general accounting processes within SAP / ERP systems.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for site operations.
• Supporting internal and external audit processes.
• Assist in budget preparation, cost allocation, and variance analysis for ongoing projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of material, labor, and subcontractor costs to support project cost control.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier / vendor accounts, and site expenses.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure proper documentation and approval of expenses.
• Preparing project-based cash flow reports and conducting financial analyses.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
