Overview We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the Strategic Studies & Market Analysis Division within the Crude Oil Sales & Marketing Department (COSMD). The division provides oil market analysis, intelligence, data analytics, strategic studies, market research, and project management to support our sales and marketing strategies. Your main role will be to oversee marketing activities, drive research initiatives, and optimize performance to support our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities As the successful candidate, you will :

Provide expertise in crude oil placement strategy and market analysis. Participate in developing strategies addressing short- and long-term market needs and challenges. Mentor and develop team members in complex crude oil market concepts. Conduct complex studies impacting current and future operations. Monitor market trends to forecast their evolution. Coordinate work on special studies and consult with executive management. Advise on planning and analysis issues to senior personnel and management. Collaborate on low carbon initiatives, including analytical presentation and organizational support. Support commercialization of low carbon crude oil and products, focusing on market mechanisms. Present analyses and recommendations on petroleum market issues.

Minimum requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred. Over 12 years of experience in oil and gas sustainability, ESG, and carbon markets. Knowledge of carbon markets, environmental regulations, and global climate policies. Extensive understanding of global crude oil markets, pricing, and reporting methodologies. Familiarity with refinery operations, linear programming, and financial modeling is advantageous. Understanding of refining processes and economics.
