Duties and Responsibilities :

Assist in managing the quality control program.
Assist in activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for engineering, procurement, project management, and operations processes.
Review policy and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in the engineering fields such as Radars, Communication, Computers, etc.
Review and, if necessary, revise the Key Quality Indicators - the parameters used to measure the quality.
Review the current sampling procedures, forms, instructions, and tools for recording, evaluating, and reporting the quality data; revise and update them as necessary.
Advise management on the structure of the quality management organization and the number and expertise of the personnel required for implementing a satisfactory quality management program.
Provide oversight / guidance to personnel engaged in collecting / analyzing the quality data.
Develop training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
Generate reports and give presentations to management staff members as needed.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by the management within the realm of QC.

Job Specification

The candidate shall have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent. The candidate qualified in ISO9000 / 9002 and / or 6-Sigma quality control management shall be preferable.

Experience :

The candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in maintenance and management of C4I systems including communication networks, surveillance radars, and security systems.

The experience in item 1 above shall include a minimum of five (5) years working in quality management discipline as a quality control person with a track record of quality improvements in his previous organization.

Experience in implementing principles and processes for quality assurance using ISO9000 / 9002 and / or 6-Sigma is required.

Must be conversant with C4I equipment and systems in use in a security command and / or has had experience in the C4I equipment and systems of similar type and generation in a security / military environment.

The experience shall include demonstrated ability to work independently, completing multiple and often competing tasks.

Must have experience in project management activities like planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring.

Must have experience in evaluation, selection, application, and reviewing policy and procedures.

Must be familiar with industry standards used in maintaining C4I equipment.

Must have experience in developing technical reports and presentations.
