Job description

The Senior Database Geologist supports the Chief Database Geoscientist in implementing changes to importing procedures and database customizations. They are also responsible for continually reviewing and maintaining the integrity and quality of the exploration data. They will train users in database software and assist in data importation.

Required Skills and Experience :

Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
Extensive experience in Fusion, DataShed, or Aquire.
Focus on error prevention rather than correction.
Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize anomalous data.
Ability to integrate exploration principles with data management.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of Python and big data analytical tools.

Skills in Business Intelligence visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Additional Qualities :

Multi-cultural experience.

Strong communication skills.

Open-mindedness and adaptability to team needs.

Logical, organized, and diligent in task follow-up.
