Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at a leading business consultancy services firm in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support our business operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and supporting the strategic goals of the organization. A membership in SOCPA is a must, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in the accounting field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing reports and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for tax filings.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure best practices are followed.
