Senior Accounts Payable Officer

JASARA PMC is looking for a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining effective supplier relationships. As a Senior Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a vital role in contributing to our financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee the complete accounts payable process, including invoice verification, processing, and payment. Review and approve invoices and expenses for accuracy and adherence to company policies. Manage relationships with suppliers and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments. Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring timely payments to vendors. Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting with inquiries. Provide training and guidance to junior accounts payable staff as needed. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices. Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
