As a Senior Account Manager in the PR team, this candidate will be developing strong client management skills and beginning to take a leading role in expanding the business through both organic and new business growth.
The Senior Account Manager will be a multi-tasker able to work collaboratively across the teams to put together solid presentations, media pitches, content writing, and basic social media strategies. They will be able to communicate confidently, think on their feet, manage relationships, and have an analytical bent of mind to reporting and showcasing performance.
This candidate will have some experience managing a small team, and be ready to take the next step in career growth towards larger teams, clients, and business volume.
Role and Responsibilities
Technical & Product
- Able to develop presentations, unpinned with a creative mindset
- Have a full understanding of workings of the media and foster relationship with stakeholders including, media, KOL’s and influencers
- Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
- Write Content and where applicable working with extended teams in briefing and reviewing content development, including but not limited to press releases, thought‑leadership, blogs, features, briefing documents etc.
- Monitor and report on media, KOL and influencer coverage and other social and business trends that might have a bearing on the client’s business.
- Facilitate and organize all stakeholder and client interactions, including but not limited to interviews, press conferences, media roundtables etc.
Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency
Ensure quality output to exceed client expectation in planning, content, and outreach.Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with an attention to details.Self‑motivated with a positive and professional approach to managing client’s business and interacting with direct reports.Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with little or no supervision.Innovative & Analytical Mindset
Creative and innovative in approach to client management, media relations and dealing with KOL’s and Influencers.Have an analytical bent of mind in reporting performance and client coverage.Qualifications
Experienced 5+ years professional having worked on the agency and / or on the client side having worked with Corporate / Lifestyle brands.The candidate needs to have excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills in English and Arabic, includingDetailed oriented workstyle, with good time management and organizational skills.Seniority level
