Operations Manager – Solar

Our client is massive power generation company specializing in operations and maintenance of renewable energy projects i.e. solar PV & CSP, wind, energy storage etc.

The role requires a Operations manager based in Saudi Arabia looking after a portfolio of solar & wind facilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the plant.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient energy production and operational excellence.
• Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance activities to maximize system uptime.
• Oversee repairs and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
• Lead and manage a skilled operations team, providing guidance and support.
• Conduct training programs to enhance the team’s technical skills and knowledge.
• Generate regular reports on plant performance, including energy production, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and energy off-takers.
• Communicate effectively with relevant teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
