Job description8+ years in data security roles. Experience with Microsoft Purview, Symantec DLP, Veeam / Commvault. Knowledge of NDMO, PDPL, and local data protection laws. Certifications : CIPP, CISA, or equivalent preferred.
Role Purpose
Ensure data classification, encryption, backup, and loss prevention policies are implemented and operationalized across the environment in alignment with Saudi regulations and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of data loss prevention (DLP) and encryption solutions.
- Oversee data backup, recovery, and retention strategies.
- Drive data classification and tagging per defined schema.
- Ensure compliance with data sovereignty and handling policies.
- Monitor for data exfiltration attempts and policy violations.
