HUMAIN is seeking a Liquid Cooling Expert Specialist to design, implement, and optimize liquid cooling systems for AI-enabled data centers, including direct-to-chip, immersion cooling, and hybrid systems. The role ensures thermal resilience, efficiency, and scalability for AI, ML, and HPC workloads.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on liquid cooling systems, guiding teams and vendors on best practices.
- Develop standards and frameworks for liquid cooling deployment, embedding resilience, water stewardship, and safety.
- Lead the design and integration of direct-to-chip, cold plate, and immersion cooling systems.
- Validate performance through simulations, CFD modeling, and full-load testing.
- Deliver performance reports on cooling efficiency, thermal loads, and risk factors.
- Implement QA / QC procedures for liquid cooling design, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure liquid cooling systems comply with safety standards and environmental regulations; promote water-efficient and low-carbon cooling technologies.
- Research innovations in two-phase immersion cooling, AI-driven thermal optimization, and modular cooling skids.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports, blueprints, and technical documents to support AI data centers, serving as input for decision-making and stakeholder communication.
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed to support business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.10+ years in mission-critical cooling design.Proven expertise in liquid cooling solutions for AI / HPC environments.Knowledge
Strong knowledge of direct-to-chip, immersion, and hybrid liquid cooling technologies.Expertise in thermal simulations, CFD analysis, and system modelling.Familiarity with AI-enabled monitoring and optimization tools for cooling systems.Knowledge of sustainability standards (LEED, BREEAM) and efficiency metrics (PUE, WUE).Seniorities level
