Senior ICA Engineer at Jacobs. To design Instrumentation and Control systems for a variety of facilities including compressor stations, process piping, sewerage, drainage, irrigation and firefighting systems. Responsibilities
Design of SCADA / PMS, F&G and PAGA systems, access control and telecom block diagrams, layouts, and infrastructure cable routes. Validate vendor-based studies. Coordinate with multiple disciplines and provide guidance for ELV system requirements. Participate in interface meetings, client meetings, etc. Update progress schedules and related project documentation. Review preparation of material requisitions (MRs) and specifications. Supervise evaluation of tender documents and material submittals. Travel periodically to offices within the MENAI region may be required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree related to I&C Engineering (minimum). Minimum 20 years of experience in professional I&C engineering, particularly in the water / wastewater or Oil & Gas industry, including design, calculation, reporting, site supervision / inspection; experience as a Senior / Lead engineer. Verifiable engineering experience with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Advanced knowledge of Instrumentation, PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA and related networks; deliverables include P&IDs, Instrument Selection and Application, Control System Configuration and Specifications, and related low-voltage communications systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for client, interdisciplinary and vendor coordination. Good knowledge of industry practices and standards used in the Middle East / India regions, as applicable to I&C engineering. Hands-on experience with industry design software (e.g., SmartPlant INTOOLS, OpenPlant) would be valued. Commitment to training and developing the technical expertise of company staff. Periodic travel to offices within the MENAI region may be required. Equal Opportunity
