Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of event delivery (planning, contracting, governance, execution, reporting), ensuring scale, adaptability, and compliance with Golf Saudi standards.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, agencies, and stakeholders, providing clear governance, risk management, and financial tracking (budgets, PRs, POs, invoices, payments).
  • Ensure agencies deliver on time, within budget, and at the highest quality through structured communication, quality control, and progress tracking.
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement across sponsorships, partnerships, media, PR, and marketing to ensure integrated delivery.
  • Drive innovation in event design and execution, pushing beyond traditional practices to create unique experiences and scalable solutions.
  • Build strong working relationships with Ambassadors, ensuring contractual obligations are met through activations, Q&As, and promotional involvement.
  • Partner with the commercial team to identify and monetize event assets, develop sales decks, and support sponsorship negotiations.
  • Support guest management by designing and delivering premium guest programs, business development opportunities, and VIP experiences.
  • Develop standardized processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce weekly planning and delivery reports for senior management, highlighting progress against KPIs and key Golf Saudi goals.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years’ experience in delivering large-scale, global, multi-stakeholder sports events; consultancy background strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate beyond subject-matter expertise, demonstrating adaptability across diverse challenges and deliverables.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams with strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated success introducing creative, non-traditional solutions that challenge the status quo in event management.
  • Elite golf event experience preferred; GCC and international exposure is an advantage.
  • Valid driving license : willingness to travel internationally and work irregular hours.
