Helicopter Operations experience This position while developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders with the objective of high-quality service delivery and performance of the FOC department within the limits of Flight Dispatch manual, Company Operations manual, QSMS Manual, FAA / GACA regulations and Company policies. Responsibilities and Duties Ensure the Safety of FOC activities. Plan, develop and implement operations continuity plan. Provide day-to-day administrative, functional and technical and strategic direction as per the business plan to the Flight Dispatch team. Liaison with Supervisor relative to the impact of Operational Control upon Operations Coordination activities and requirements. Develop, implement and enforce operational control standards, policies and procedures pertaining to the Flight Dispatch function, in keeping with safety requirements. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure safe operations and compliance with the regulations. Prepare the operating and capital expenditure budgets relative to Flight Dispatch. Analyze existing manpower resources and manpower planning to achieve balanced numbers by aiming to optimizing workflow Ensure flight operations center activities conform to relevant aviation regulations and organization guidelines; Maintain appropriate flight operations records, flight support records and other reporting requirements; Oversee the provision of technical support services to the flight operations management team; Ensure that Company flights are safely and efficiently planned, cleared, and monitored in accordance with established standards and regulations. Provide flight operational support through Flight Dispatch services including, but not limited to, Flight Planning, Flight Watch, Weather Briefing, and communications as required by those applicable sections of the OM-A. Manage and ensuring the ongoing integrity and operational capacity / capability of all Flight Dispatch technical support systems. Liaison with external agencies which may affect operations co-ordination. Approve and / or amend work rosters which ensure adequate and efficient Flight Dispatcher staffing on duty. Administration of ground support personnel and activities; Responsible to oversee on flight operations equipment and facilities; Review and approve all software and hardware configuration; Develop training curriculums and personal development plans for all FOC staff; Mentor and coach staff to enable them to reach their potential. Position Requirements & Attributes : FAA / GACA Aircraft Dispatcher Certification and / or bachelor’s degree in relevant filed. Minimum eight (8) years of Flight Operations Experience and at least 4 years in Helicopter Flight Operations and 2 years in similar role.
