Prepare aircraft surfaces by sanding, stripping old paint, and masking areas to ensure precise paint application. Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment. Inspect painted surfaces for quality and adherence to specifications, making necessary touch-ups. Maintain compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company standards. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness to ensure safe and efficient operations. Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience as an Aircraft Painter or in a similar role within the aerospace industry. Relevant certifications such as FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent aviation painting certification. OSHA safety certification and knowledge of hazardous material handling (e.g., OSHA HAZWOPER). Proficient in using spray guns, paint booths, and surface preparation tools. Strong understanding of aviation paint systems, materials, and industry standards (e.g., MIL-PRF-85285, MIL-PRF-23377). Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and ability to work in confined space. Seniority level
