Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The primary responsibility is to drive municipal (MUNI) sales, build and maintain strong relationships with defined customers, and ensure a robust pipeline with an optimal hit rate. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor market development and leverage insights to achieve business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess new business opportunities with potential for Grundfos products and services.
  • Execute tactical sales plans aligned with overall strategy and support budget preparation for sales and marketing activities.
  • Utilize SAP BW data for business analysis and forecasting.
  • Provide expert advice to customers, consultants, dealers, and contractors on product performance, new solutions, modifications, and applications.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on trends and competitor activities, recommending strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Conduct specialized product and application training for customers, dealers, and internal sales teams.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance team capability.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in the global CRM system.
  • Ensure customer master data is up to date for all accounts under your responsibility.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related field preferred).
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in Domestic Building Services or similar industry.
  • Proven experience in managing defined processes within a large manufacturing or business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales plans, processes, and activities within the functional area.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Familiarity with relevant systems, local laws, and regulations in the region.
