Overview
The ideal candidate is responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations, budget compilation, and back-up to the accounts payable function.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger by processing all organization invoices, payments, and purchases.
- Review and verify accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes.
- Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting.
- Prepare trial balance and support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy, security, and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting.4+ years\' accounting experience.Strong knowledge of public sector accounting standards (IPSAS or equivalent).Strong knowledge of general ledger processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles.Familiar with IPSAS, IFRS.Highly organized with excellent attention to detailSeniority level
