Mechanical MEP Engineer

Responsibilities :

– Design, implement, and oversee mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for infrastructure projects.

– Develop and manage BIM models for mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and coordination with other disciplines.

– Collaborate with the technical office to prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

– Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

– Perform technical evaluations and resolve any design or construction-related issues.

– Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Requirements :

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

– Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical MEP engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.

– Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).

– Strong knowledge of Saudi building codes and standards.

– Experience in both technical office and site construction roles.

– Must hold a valid certification from the Saudi Council of Engineers.

– Transferable Iqamais mandatory.
