Job Description

The Department of Integrated Design at KFUPM is seeking to fill several faculty positions at all professorial ranks with potential candidates showing ability and desire for excellence in both teaching and research. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in the following disciplines :

Design / Design studies
Integrated Design
Interdisciplinary Design
Design Ideation and Practices
Design Solutions
Design Education
Design Science
Product / Industrial Design
Graphics / Multimedia Design
Game Design
Interactive Design / Human-interactive Design
Mix-realities Design and Applications
Parametric / Algorithmic Design
Digital Fabrication
Digital Twinning
Design Engineering
Interior Design / Space Design
Any Design-related or Design Science related fields

The candidate will be expected to be available for professional duties for approximately (35-40) hours per week and to carry out teaching, research, academic advising, administrative duties and any other academic duties that will be assigned to the faculty by the academic department concerned. He must adhere to any other job responsibilities imposed by the Ministry of Civil Service regulations.

Qualifications

Applicant must have :

An earned Ph.D. degree from a reputable university in the relevant field.

A full-time bachelor’s and master’s degrees with very good grades.

Certificate equivalency if the certificate obtained from outside the Kingdom.
