Position Details

  • Position : Site Logistics Supervisor
  • Location / Department : Building and Infrastructure
  • Reporting to : Project Manager / Operations Manager
  • Key Working Relationship : All KSA BIC business units

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Specialty : Expertise in logistics management, conducting risk assessments, improving route planning, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
  • Education : Degree BA or equivalent
  • Technical Knowledge : Proficient in overseeing on-site logistics operations, implementing road safety programs, and optimizing workflows.
  • Experience : ≥ 8 years in logistics management
  • Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities

  • Manage on-site logistical operations for infrastructure projects, ensuring the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Guide deliveries to Resort Core projects, verifying arrivals at the marshalling area and ensuring all safety measures are taken.
  • Check the safety of vehicles carrying loads and verify gate passes.
  • Schedule and monitor transportation to guarantee timely delivery and prevent delays.
  • Monitor workforce pick-up and drop-off points, ensuring they are safe and effectively managed.
  • Conduct random inspections of vehicles and workers' access passes. Report any non-compliance to relevant authorities.
  • Inspect site lighting during night shifts and manage the park and ride facility.
  • Monitor workforce rest areas, ensuring adequate amenities and compliance with safety standards.
  • Report when summer temperatures reach the "no work" threshold and ensure compliance with workforce protection mandates.
  • Monitor health and safety activities, particularly the use of PPE and working at heights, reporting any non-compliance.
  • Oversee contractors’ waste management processes, ensuring compliance with QIC standards.
  • Develop and implement procedures for reporting and investigating incidents. Analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and multi-disciplinary teams to address logistical needs and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, training sessions, and inspections, regularly reviewing safety policies based on feedback and trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe site operations.

    Technical Expertise

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Familiarity with logistics technology, GPS tracking systems, and tools for reviewing site plans (e.g., AutoCAD).
