GIS Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GIS Specialist to support a large-scale Operation and Maintenance project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and experience working within engineering consultancy environments.

Responsibilities :

Develop, manage, and maintain geospatial databases to support O&M activities. Analyze spatial data and generate maps, reports, and visualizations. Integrate GIS with asset management and maintenance systems. Support field data collection using GPS and mobile GIS tools. Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and project alignment. Perform quality control and data validation of GIS layers and attributes. Provide GIS technical support and training as needed. Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in GIS, preferably within consultancy firms or infrastructure-related projects. Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial data management tools. Experience working on Operation and Maintenance (O&M) projects is a strong advantage. Knowledge of spatial analysis, remote sensing, and GPS / GNSS technologies. Strong communication and reporting skills. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
