About The Opportunity

The role is for an experienced Senior Technical Manager – Attractions (Interface) for a new theme park project in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of theme park rides and attractions and will serve as the primary interface between the client, consultants, and ride vendors to ensure the successful delivery of world‑class attractions.

Sector

Experience in design and delivery of attractions for large‑scale theme parks or entertainment venues.

Scale

Proven experience working on mega projects exceeding $100 million in value with exposure to multiple stakeholders and complex deliverables.

Responsibilities

Proven ability to manage complex interfaces between attractions, theming, infrastructure, and supporting disciplines (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical).
Act as the main point of contact between ride manufacturers and consultants to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
Experience coordinating ride integration with park‑wide utilities, pathways, and guest flow systems.
Coordinate with other project disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of rides with surrounding infrastructure.
Exceptional ability to mediate technical and creative objectives, balancing operational functionality with storytelling and design.
Extensive experience with ride systems engineering, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering rides through the full project lifecycle, including

Conceptual design and feasibility

Technical review and design validation

Vendor selection and contract management

Installation, testing, commissioning, and handover

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience managing theme park rides and attractions, including design, procurement, and commissioning, preferably within theme parks, attractions, or entertainment industries.

Proven experience working on large‑scale theme park projects or similar entertainment developments.

Extensive knowledge of international ride safety standards and regulations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Strong project management skills with experience interfacing with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
