A Day in the Life

Medtronic is looking for a Senior HR Generalist to serve as a trusted Human Resources Business Partner to our business and functional leaders. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and execute people strategies that enable organizational performance and employee growth. Based in either Jeddah or Riyadh in a hybrid working model, this role provides hands-on business partnership to leaders and employees across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. The Senior HR Generalist will support the full employee life cycle, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience initiatives. The role includes regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and global HR counterparts and offers high exposure across the business.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

• Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to leaders by aligning HR initiatives with business needs
• Design, implement, and execute HR strategies that support organizational growth and performance
• Partner with leaders to identify and resolve workforce and talent needs proactively
• Lead employee lifecycle management, organizational effectiveness and talent development initiatives
• Serve as HR liaison in key programs and drive improvements to HR processes, systems and ways of working
• Support HR data analysis and workforce insights, including dashboards and reporting to inform business decisions
• Manage operational HR activities to ensure smooth execution of processes, compliance and employee experience
• Coach and support HR colleagues when applicable

Required Knowledge and Experience :

Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization, familiarity with Saudi and Gulf labour law, exposure to talent management or organizational development, and experience handling HR data insights, dashboards or analytics are an advantage. CIPD or SHRM certification is also beneficial, but the right mindset and strong capability to partner closely with the business remain the most important.
