Line of Service : Assurance. Our Middle East Assurance practice includes over 2,300 people across 12 countries, combining human-led and tech-powered solutions to deliver quality audits and risk services.
What is expected from you?
- Assisting proactively in the management of a portfolio of client accounts, responsible for day-to-day client liaison and technical issues management
- Leading business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new / existing clients and maintaining strong client relationships
- Developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges and contributing to your own and your team’s technical acumen
- Assisting in the management and delivery of large projects, ensuring key deadlines are met
- Designing the audit strategy and managing audit execution in line with the engagement leader guidance; advising clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments; staying up to date with regulatory changes
- Managing client relations with senior management, including delivering presentations to boards and audit committees
- Ensuring compliance with risk, quality and independence matters
- Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Coaching, mentoring and developing team members while caring about their well-being
- Encouraging involvement in digital initiatives and audit transformation technologies, and exploring alternative delivery models to improve audit robustness
- Participating in the recruitment process for interviewing and selecting candidates according to PwC hiring standards
What will you bring?
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fieldMinimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in external financial audit in a top firmCompleted recognised professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPAExperience auditing diverse industries is advantageousExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for a team environmentBilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is a plusStrong project management skills and experience managing an audit from planning to completionAbility to drive high-quality testing and documentationAbility to build positive relationships at all levelsSupport for innovative thinking and change management in the digital worldExperience fostering collaboration, resolving team issues quickly, and promoting agile and digital approachesPride in the Audit profession with dedication to self-developmentValue diversity in teamsKnowledge of audit technologies and data analytics is a plusThe skills we look for in future employees
