Job Purpose - The Sales / Clinical Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth and providing advanced clinical and technical support for robotic surgical products within Saudi Arabia. This role combines commercial acumen with clinical expertise to ensure effective product utilization, surgeon training, and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
Achieve or exceed sales targets for robotic surgical products in assigned territory.
Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company objectives.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, medical centers, and private clinics.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, operating room staff, procurement departments, and hospital administration.Participate in tenders, quotations, and contract negotiations in compliance with company policies.Clinical Support & TrainingProvide on-site clinical support during robotic procedures to ensure safe and effective product use.
Conduct hands‑on product demonstrations and in‑service training for surgeons, nurses, and biomedical engineers.Support pre‑, intra‑, and post‑operative phases with product setup, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.Serve as a clinical expert on device functionality, surgical applications, and procedural efficiency.Partner with hospitals to plan and execute educational workshops, clinical evaluations, and symposiums.Market Intelligence & ReportingMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and clinical activities.Provide regular business and activity reports to management.Support marketing initiatives and product launches with clinical insights and field data.Compliance & QualityEnsure full adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company products, surgical techniques, and relevant clinical research.Represent the company professionally at conferences, exhibitions, and training events.Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, or a related medical field.Qualifications & Experience
Certification in minimally invasive or robotic surgery is an advantage.Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of clinical or sales experience in robotic surgery or in laparoscopic surgical systems with readiness to transition into robotics.Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC region is highly preferred.Proven track record in achieving sales targets and providing OR clinical support.Technical & Clinical Skills
In‑depth understanding of laparoscopic and robotic surgical workflows.Familiarity with operating room protocols, sterilization procedures, and device integration.Strong presentation, training, and communication skills in English (Arabic is an asset).Other Requirements
Valid Saudi driving license and willingness to travel extensively within KSA.Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced medical environment.Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
