A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a professional and caring Governess to care for their three children aged 7, 9, and 11 years old. The family are looking for someone who will support the children’s education, additional support with math and English, organise tutors with a focus on the children’s emotional wellbeing. The family are looking for someone they can trust to proxy parent and ensure the house runs smoothly if they have to be away for work. This is a fully staffed home but environment is relaxed with professional boundaries. A background in child psychology would be very advantageous.

An up to date first aid certificate and police check are essential for this position.

Duties:

• Ensuring the children are up and ready for school and have had nutritious breakfast
• Helping with homework and school projects
• Providing extra educational support with Maths and English
• Coordinating afterschool activities, clubs, and playdates
• Liaising with schoolteachers
• Supporting mental and emotional wellbeing
• Travelling with the family and proxy parenting
• Ensuring the children are eating healthy meals
• Wardrobe management

Salary: £5,000 to £6,000 NPM
Days: Friday to Wednesday
Hours: 12 hours per day

Travel: yes, during school holidays
Language: English essential, Arabic bonus
Accommodation: Private bedroom and ensuite in separate part of the home
