Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our coffee shop, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers while maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment.

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and specialty coffees Provide friendly and professional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every guest Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards Assist in managing inventory and placing orders for coffee beans and supplies Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Stay updated on coffee trends and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills Educate customers about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles Assist in opening and closing procedures of the coffee shop

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in a food and beverage role, preferably as a barista Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso-based drinks and alternative brewing methods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions Basic math skills for inventory management and cash handling Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Excellent teamwork and communication skills Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and initiative Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Basic Arabic language skills preferred High school diploma or equivalent
