Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and experienced Supplier Acquisition Specialist to expand and strengthen Madar’s supplier network.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and acquire suppliers in the cement and building materials sector.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Onboard suppliers onto Madar’s platform efficiently.
Align supplier capabilities with Madar’s logistics solutions.
Support contract negotiations and pricing discussions.
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Marketplace) to optimize supplier performance.
Monitor supplier performance and provide improvement recommendations.
Strong experience in supplier and vendor management, including onboarding and relationship management.
Deep knowledge of the cement, construction, or building materials supply chain preferred.
Proven sales and business development abilities to generate leads and grow supplier network.
Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and digital tools for supplier tracking.
Ability to collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Marketplace).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
Minimum experience 3‑7 years.
Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP are considered an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Supplier / vendor management and onboarding, including relationship management.
Sales and business development, with proven ability to generate leads and grow supplier network.
Market research and analytical capabilities.
Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and digital tools for supplier tracking.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Marketplace).
Team collaboration and organization.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
