The Field Services Outside Sales Representative promotes and sells a broad range of technical services including start-up, maintenance, testing, retrofit, upgrade and digital services for electrical equipment installed at the customer site. Sell turnkey projects ranging from simple equipment replacements to fully engineered solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing Schneider Electric customers to identify scope of work, estimate and sell system additions / modifications and maintenance agreements to meet or exceed profitable sales targets. Develop new sales opportunities and address the needs of established accounts; educate customers on pricing, applications, and how SE products / solutions / services meet their needs. Create field service proposals and close them with the customer. Interact with the account manager from the BUs, and with FS ISSR and FS Operational Marketing; increase the mix of Service Plans sales as a top priority. In mature countries, participate in specialized outside sales by customer type (Strategic, Targeted, Proximity accounts) and develop account profiles and execute the sales plan. Identify and contact potential customers or prospects, existing or new; secure customer satisfaction by overseeing ongoing activities (orders, delivery, etc.). Utilize BFO (Salesforce.com) for sales funnel management and account planning; provide monthly forecasts and summaries. Participate in preparation of analysis and reports on field service performance; prepare sales quotations and proposals with the help of the quotation team with respect to FS expected margin. Work closely with Inside Service Sales Reps and the BU account manager to maximize business opportunities; provide feedback to Field Services Marketing and educate customers on SE products and services with emphasis on recurring and digital offers. Provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to other sales employees; coordinate and / or attend trade shows and marketing / sales seminars as needed. Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience and 3–10 years of technical sales experience. Inside sales or CCC experience is a plus. Ability to build sustainable and reliable relationships with customers; customer intimacy is critical in Field Services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including with C-level customers. Thorough knowledge of Schneider Electric services offers throughout the Asset Management Life Cycle of the product. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP / CRM tools; excellent organizational skills. Impact and Culture
