Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain favorable procurement terms. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential vendors and continually assess their capabilities. Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure procurement compliance and alignment with business needs. Oversee the procurement process from requisition through to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations. Monitor inventory levels and enforce efficient inventory management practices. Track procurement performance metrics and report on costs, savings, and supplier performance. Stay informed of industry trends and legislative changes affecting procurement practices.
