Purpose of Job The Director of the Strategic Planning Department is responsible for managing the Strategic Planning Department, including analyzing, formulating, sequencing, updating, monitoring, and reporting on strategies; in addition to high-level institutional design to achieve the Authority’s vision and mission, the aspirations of the Board of Directors, and the 2030 Vision and Aspirations.

Job Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of the strategic and project management action plan, ensuring alignment with the Authority's strategy.

Develop the operational plan for the Strategic Planning Department and align it with the strategic and project management action plan and the strategic plan for strategy and development.

Managing internal and external assessments to develop a hypothesis regarding strategic priorities.

Encouraging internal / external stakeholders to be part of the Authority's strategic analysis by incorporating their ideas and opinions into strategy development.

Identify strategic initiatives, programs, and projects based on approved strategic initiatives and ensure input from key stakeholders is considered.

Participate in developing the annual budget in coordination with the Financial Planning and Budget Department.

Manage the development of business planning guidelines, tools, and communication plans to streamline the strategy, strategic initiatives, projects, and related key performance indicators to management levels.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent is required

Master’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred

PMP Certificate, or equivalent is preferred

Experience An optimal of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 3 years of experience in managerial level.
