Overview
Lucid Motors is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to support the execution and evolution of Lucid’s global integrated business planning process. This role will bridge supply, demand, and financial planning across multiple functions, leveraging planning platforms to drive data-backed decisions and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations planning and collaborate with the supply chain, finance, manufacturing, sales, and program management teams. You Will
Support the end-to-end S&OP cycle through data synthesis, scenario modeling, and KPI development to align demand, supply, and financial plans. Drive and scale the use of enterprise S&OP planning tools (e.g., Aera, Kinaxis, Anaplan, o9, or similar) for forecasting, what-if scenario planning, dashboarding, and automation. Serve as the go-to analyst for S&OP tool integration, translating business needs into digital planning solutions. Create and maintain models that reflect the impact of timing shifts, material constraints, and volume changes on build and fulfillment plans. Build cross-functional alignment by preparing and distributing planning outputs to supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and executive teams. Develop and automate dashboards and reporting mechanisms in collaboration with IT and data teams. Track, analyze, and improve forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service level metrics. Partner with the Director of S&OP to facilitate weekly planning forums, drive root cause analyses, and surface planning risks / opportunities. Document planning processes and provide onboarding / training for new users and stakeholders. You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience in supply chain, S&OP, or operations planning, preferably in the automotive or high-tech manufacturing space. Hands-on experience with one or more S&OP platforms such as Aera, Kinaxis, Anaplan, o9, or similar (required). Strong analytical, modeling, and data visualization skills (Excel, Tableau); familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally. Highly organized self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an OEM or Tier 1 automotive environment. Exposure to IBP concepts and financial tie-out processes. Working knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus. Additional Compensation and Benefits
