We are hiring a
Compliance Manager
on behalf of a rapidly growing
fintech
startup to work full-time on-site in Riyadh. This leadership role is crucial in overseeing all aspects of regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), governance, and operational risk within the firm. Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & AML Leadership Lead regulatory licensing processes. Act as the main liaison with SAMA, CMA, and other regulatory bodies. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance, AML, and governance frameworks. Monitor evolving local and international regulatory requirements and ensure timely updates across programs. Oversee internal audits and ensure enterprise risk management practices are effectively applied. Business Development Assist in expanding the company’s fintech portfolio. Support strategic initiatives to leverage global networks for new business opportunities. Actively represent the firm in industry forums, regulatory panels, and networking events. Internal Leadership & Talent Development Champion a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s values. Mentor and train junior compliance professionals across the firm. Conduct regular training sessions for clients and internal teams on AML, risk, and compliance matters. Support recruitment and development of top-tier talent in line with the firm's growth strategy. Required Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or AML—preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services. Hands-on experience dealing with regulatory authorities in Saudi Arabia (SAMA, CMA). Proven success in designing and managing compliance programs, including licensing, policy creation, and audit readiness. Experience with Enterprise and Operational Risk Management processes.
