Financial Analyst

A leading multinational organization in the power and industrial sector is seeking an experienced

Financial Analyst

to support project accounting, financial planning, and cost control activities.

The role focuses on providing analytical and financial insights to ensure effective project execution, accurate reporting, and compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, forecasts, and project performance metrics.

Manage

project accounting

activities, ensuring accurate tracking of project costs, revenues, and profitability.

Support

budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

processes across business units.

Conduct detailed

variance and cost analyses

to identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities.

Collaborate closely with project managers and operational teams to monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.

Maintain and enhance financial models and dashboards to support decision-making.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and corporate financial policies.

Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting processes.

Prepare management reports and presentations for executive leadership review.

Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing relevant financial documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in

Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

(Master’s preferred).

3 years of proven experience

in

financial analysis, project accounting, or cost control .

Recent experience (2+ years)

in the

Oil & Gas, Power, or EPC sectors

is essential.

Demonstrated experience in

Project Accounting

and

Contract Financial Management .

Strong working knowledge of

SAP SD and PS modules .

Excellent understanding of

project accounting principles, cost control, and variance analysis .

Advanced proficiency in

Microsoft Excel

and data analysis tools.
