JASARA PMC is looking for a highly skilled Design Manager (RC) to join our team. As a Design Manager specializing in reinforced concrete (RC) structures, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design of concrete-related projects. Your expertise in RC will be essential to ensure that structures are designed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Your role will involve collaboration with clients, architects, and other engineering teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet project requirements. You will oversee the work of design engineers, ensuring that all designs are executed accurately and effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design team in the development of reinforced concrete structures for various projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define project requirements and design objectives
  • Ensure compliance with design codes, industry standards, and project specifications
  • Oversee the production of design documents, including calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to integrate design solutions with other project elements
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Address any design-related issues during construction and provide solutions as necessary
  • Manage project timelines and ensure that design deliverables are met on schedule

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in design management, specifically with reinforced concrete structures
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes, and regulations related to RC
  • Proficiency in design software such as STAAD, SAP2000, or similar engineering applications
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with site construction processes and challenges related to RC structures
