- Design and update the HSEQ strategy aligned with Last Mile goals.
- Develop inspection protocols and safety policies covering riders, vehicles, facilities, and compounds.
- Plan training, awareness, and safety campaign calendars in collaboration with other departments.
- Identify risk areas and build preventive safety and compliance initiatives.
- Manage and track the HSEQ department budget including training, inspections, and equipment.
- Approve resource allocations and verify cost-effectiveness of safety initiatives.
- Support in the procurement of tools and services required for HSEQ operations.
- Lead a team of regional supervisors, inspectors, and CCTV personnel.
- Provide regular coaching, evaluation, and skill development for team members.
- Ensure the HSEQ team is properly scheduled, present, and equipped for daily tasks.
- Foster a culture of accountability and safety-first mindset across the organization.
- Ensure full compliance with internal and regulatory HSEQ standards.
- Lead root cause analysis for incidents, near misses, and operational non-compliance.
- Monitor adherence to safety processes through inspections, audits, and CCTV oversight.
- Create incident escalation workflows and ensure timely resolution and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Division’s ABCs and OKRs, while ensuring alignment with other Functions' heads.
- Make critical decisions that support the Division's strategic and tactical direction.
- Establish the plans for the respective functions / teams and provide inputs that support the Division’s goals and objectives.
- Distribute tactical responsibilities effectively to potential leaders in the Division, to improve the succession readiness of the organization over time.
- Measure and track relevant OKRs and metrics to ensure the achievement of goals and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes for the daily work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience :
5+ years in a safety, compliance, or quality assurance role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.Experience managing distributed safety teams and field inspection programs.Strong understanding of occupational safety standards and incident management.Working knowledge of fleet and field operations safety.Excellent leadership and investigative skills.Analytical thinker with attention to detail.Strong reporting, communication, and collaboration skills.Comfortable using safety software, dashboards, and CCTV tools.Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or Operations is preferred.Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are a plus.Seniority level
