Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.

Conduct feasibility studies and prepare specifications for electrical systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Perform load calculations and equipment sizing to meet project requirements.

Conduct troubleshooting and analysis of electrical systems to resolve issues efficiently.

Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports related to projects.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).

Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of renewable energy systems and sustainable design practices is a plus.
