Job Description :

SSEM is looking for a highly skilled Lead Testing Mechanical Engineer to join our Testing & Commissioning Department. This role takes charge of mechanical pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities across major water treatment infrastructure projects, ensuring all mechanical systems meet design and operational standards beforehand.

Key Responsibilities

Lead mechanical pre‑commissioning / commissioning activities.

Supervise and ensure compliance with mechanical installation and testing requirements.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues affecting plant performance.

Review and approve piping layouts, technical documents, test reports, and inspection records.

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (process, electrical, instrumentation, vendors, and clients).

Maintain documentation of commissioning procedures and ensure handover readiness.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Experience in KSA / SEC CSD Approval is added value.

7–10 years in mechanical engineering roles, with at least 3–5 years of hands‑on commissioning experience in water treatment projects.

Expertise in pumps, high‑pressure vessels, piping systems, chemical dosing systems, and RO‑specific equipment.

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Ability to work with technical documentation, compliance standards, and client specifications.

Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
