Role Description
This is a remote role for a Regional Sales Manager KSA at Quectel. The role will involve managing sales activities, developing strategies to penetrate growth segments in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with the other departments to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business for non-cellular business units of all products and services including cellular, WIFI / Lora / Bluetooth / Satellite / GNSS /
- Antennas / ODM and PCBA
- IoT solution sales or business development experience is a great asset
- Building relationships with the key accounts in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia market
- Work in cooperation with RSM / RSD in Region and PDM to define target list of accounts and opportunities to follow up together, directly or together with distributors to increase sales and market penetration.
- Work in close cooperation with product teams, distributors, and other sales managers & technical support team and involve the right people to secure design in’s.
- Increase the number of opportunities visiting exhibitions, using available market maps, reaching the inside sales leads and webshop sales.
- Check and update CRM database for quotes, forecast and other relevant processes required.
- Ability to Work autonomously and should understand the market and technologies and follow technology developments
- Hunting spirit, frequent travel to meet customers
- Quarterly updates on MNOs , key accounts, regional bodies strategy and regional initiatives
- Identifying and promoting Quectel customer solutions
- Ikotek, Acceleronix and others
- Increase awareness of Quectel with all key entities
- Gain strategic and future plans from all key entities across region
- Track all key entities RFPs and share with regional sales team
- Drive new technologies / networks with KEY ACCOUNTs
- Building forms of co-operation with the target entities and partners, and put it in a formal form such as (MOUs, partnerships,...)
- In co-operation with marketing department, arrange for joint activities with partners and target entities such as joint media releases, joint exhibiting in trade shows,
Qualifications
Bachelor or equivalent degree in science, engineering, computer science or related field3~5 years experience working with cellular modules / SoM Modules / WIFI / BT / Lora / Zigbee from sales or application engineering role, ideally field basedExperience of SOC and embedded application systems highly desirableHunting spirit with focus on new business developmentSeniority level
