We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic

Junior Planning Engineer

who will manage major projects. In this role, you will proactively support sales and project delivery functions by creating project schedules and related support material for use in KONE estimates and execution.

We are looking for somebody who understands how to partner and collaborate with the business with an analytical mindset and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Support sales function by creating project schedules and related support material for use in KONE estimates and proposals.

Design, construct and maintain cost and resource-loaded schedules for projects in execution and proactively highlight resource and time challenges in meeting schedule requirements.

Interact directly with customers to understand project requirements and milestones to integrate construction master schedules with KONE scope.

Bridge potential misalignment between KONE Supply Line and Front Line by checking project schedules and identifying corrective actions and scheduling opportunities.

Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining existing schedules, performing critical path, acceleration, and gap analysis as required.

Assist in project performance analysis and forecasting based on Critical Path and Earned Value.

Maintain accurate records of schedule development throughout the lifetime of the project.

Ensure bespoke customer reports and contractual planning obligations are understood and fulfilled.

Provide support to Project Teams and management in relation to EOT claims, delay analysis, and Cause and Effect scheduling.

Assist in project risk and opportunity analysis.

Contribute to the development of planning processes and best practices and assist with their implementation, guide and train project teams in their application.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering.

3-5 years of experience in the construction industry or other relevant fields.

Proven experience in construction project planning.

Excellent experience using Excel, Primavera P6, MS Project.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Ability to collaborate, multitask and handle changing project requirements.
