Job description

What are we looking for? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Vice President (SVP) or Vice President (VP) of Partnerships to lead our expansion efforts within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise sales and business development, specifically targeting banks and financial institutions in KSA. You will be instrumental in establishing Pulse iD's presence, forging strategic alliances, and achieving significant revenue growth in this key market. A deep understanding of the credit card domain and Credit Card Management Systems (CMS) is highly desirable. What you will be doing (Responsibilities) : Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and telcos specifically within the KSA market. Build, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline, taking ownership of deals from lead generation through to closure with the support of the deal squad. Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the Saudi Arabian retail banking sector and credit card ecosystem. Leverage your existing network and build new connections within KSA to accelerate pipeline growth and convert existing opportunities. Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial deals that align with Pulse iD's strategic objectives and cater to the specific needs of the KSA market. Analyse market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs within KSA to identify future potential growth opportunities and new revenue streams. Contribute to the development and execution of KSA-specific sales plans and partnership programs for optimal performance and growth. Enhance the business value and revenue streams from existing key partnerships in the region. Collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure successful partnership implementation and ongoing management. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes (e.g., SAMA directives), and the competitive landscape within the loyalty, payments, and financial technology sectors in KSA. Represent Pulse iD at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events within KSA and potentially the broader region. What you need to have (Qualifications & Experience) : Proven experience (typically 10+ years for SVP, 7+ years for VP) in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, with a significant focus on the financial services industry, particularly banks and FIs, within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A strong, demonstrable track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving significant business growth in the KSA market. Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian banking and payment domain, with specific expertise in the credit card business (issuing, acquiring, processing, loyalty). Familiarity and experience with Credit Card Management Systems (CMS) is highly desirable and will be a key differentiator. Extensive and active network of relevant industry contacts within retail banking, credit card divisions, and financial institutions across KSA. Proven ability to build on leads, strategically grow the sales pipeline, own complex deals, and successfully convert opportunities within the KSA context. Exceptional skills in strategic planning, business partnering, compelling presentations, business modelling, and data analysis. Experience selling enterprise SaaS platforms is essential. FinTech industry knowledge, particularly within loyalty and payment solutions, is crucial. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within KSA and potentially the wider MENA region. Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable, but not essential. Strong existing relationships in the KSA market are critical. Sounds great?
