ERP Technical Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics)

Overview

The ERP Technical role is crucial for organizations looking to optimize their enterprise resource planning systems. This position involves a blend of technical expertise and strategic insight, ensuring that ERP systems are effectively implemented, maintained, and upgraded to meet the evolving needs of the business. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency through technology. ERP Development & Customization

Design, develop, and maintain

custom modules, classes, forms, workflows, and reports

in Microsoft Dynamics AX / 365. Customize ERP functionalities using

X++ , SQL, and MorphX development environment. Create

technical specifications, system configurations, and documentation . System Integration & Data Management

Integrate Microsoft Dynamics AX / 365 with CRM, HR, and third-party applications. Build and manage

data migration scripts, APIs, and middleware connections . Ensure

data consistency, security, and accuracy

across integrated systems. System Upgrade & Transformation

Support

ERP upgrade projects

(AX to D365), including design validation, migration, and testing. Re-engineer existing customizations to align with new system architecture. Ensure minimal business disruption during upgrade phases. Performance, Optimization & Support

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AX / 365 modules. Monitor ERP system performance and optimize for scalability and stability. Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, and enhancements. Collaboration & Business Alignment

Work closely with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to gather requirements. Translate business needs into technical solutions and ERP enhancements. Support user training and documentation to ensure smooth adoption. Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in

Microsoft Dynamics AX / 365 ERP technical development . Strong expertise in

X++ programming, MorphX, SSRS, and AIF . Proficiency in

SQL Server

(database design, scripting, stored procedures, SSRS, SSIS). Experience with

ERP integrations (CRM, HR, Finance)

and middleware tools. Proven track record of

ERP upgrades, migrations, and module enhancements . Familiarity with

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

is a plus. Key Competencies
