Job description

The Role

The Clinician effectively contributes to the delivery of focused psychological interventions, and case coordination for clients with complex mental health concerns in primary care by :

  • Collaboratively planning and implementing assessment and treatment services, for individual clients.
  • Providing goal orientated therapeutic interventions and strategies for eligible clients.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

About You

  • A genuine caring nature with a passion to help others.
  • Have excellent communication skills to build meaningful relationships
  • Have any of the following qualifications suitable for appropriate registration :
  • Social Worker
  • Psychologist / Provisional Psychologist / Occupational Therapist
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum of two years full-time post-graduate experience working within a primary / community mental health setting or equivalent (desirable).
  • Some out of hours work and intra-state travel may be required.
