Construction Director - Concrete Specialist Racecourse (SPA 250)

Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled Project Construction Director with a background in Specialist / Complex Concrete pouring to lead the concrete-related aspects of our Racecourse development project. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in concrete technology and project management to ensure high-quality construction standards are met while driving the project to successful completion. Your ability to innovate and address challenges related to concrete design and application will be essential in delivering a world-class facility. Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, execution, and quality assurance of all concrete works related to the Racecourse project Develop concrete mix designs, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and subcontractors to integrate concrete solutions into the overall design Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to monitor concrete work progress and safety compliance Manage and coordinate procurement of concrete materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements Address technical challenges during construction and propose innovative solutions as needed Prepare and present detailed reports on project milestones, concrete quality metrics, and issues to senior management Lead and mentor project teams, fostering safety, quality, and continuous improvement Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in concrete construction, with a focus on large-scale highly complex projects Proven expertise in concrete technology, mix design, and construction methodologies Demonstrated ability to oversee complex construction projects and deliver on time and within budget Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage project teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders Strong problem-solving abilities with focus on innovative solutions Familiarity with project management software and quality assurance processes Experience in the development of racing circuits or similar projects is advantageous Job Details
