Assistant Housekeeping Mgr

Our UHNW client, who is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Executive Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, working closely with Supervisors and in alignment with the Director of Rooms. This role involves leading, coaching, and training team members to ensure seamless operations and the highest service standards. In the absence of senior management, the Assistant Housekeeping Manager acts as the Department Head, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence in delivery.

General Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist in managing and organising the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Supervise, coach, train, and discipline team members as required.
• Conduct performance appraisals and probation reviews.
• Support the Executive Housekeeping Manager in planning and implementing new projects or reassessing current processes.
• Develop and conduct ongoing training to maintain and enhance service standards.
• Establish and maintain luxury housekeeping standards for all roles and tasks.
• Inspect estate properties regularly to ensure standards are met.
• Oversee inventory of linen, consumables, and machinery; ensure accurate rotation, stock-taking, and ordering.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff, ensuring efficiency, attention to detail, and high-quality results.
• Remain adaptable, flexible, and effective in changing or high-pressure situations.
• Complete administrative duties including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, data entry, records maintenance, and preparing weekly / monthly reports for the Housekeeping Senior Leadership Team.
• Ensure smooth, discreet, and high-end service delivery to guests and staff.
• Maintain clear communication with Supervisors, ensuring guest preferences and requests are accurately conveyed and respected.
• Monitor housekeeping stock, ensuring proper levels and rotation.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and care within guest and operational areas.
• Report incidents, damages, or equipment failures immediately, both verbally and in writing.
• Ensure proper stowage and safe handling of equipment and valuables.
• Be attentive to guest movements and requirements to provide anticipatory service.
• Demonstrate specialist knowledge in caring for luxury finishes such as gold leaf, glass, marble, stainless steel, wood, delicate fabrics, and other fine surfaces.
• Safely plan and supervise work in high and difficult-to-reach areas.
• Provide hands-on support during peak periods or staff shortages.

Education requirements : Bachelor, Diploma, High School | Minimum 2-4 years of experience on the same or similar role

Salary : 14,875 SAR – 21,250 SAR

Working days : 6 days a week

Annual Leave : 30 Days of Vacation / Annum

Accommodation : Single Room in a Shared Villa

Working hours : 48 Hours a Week
