Location : Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Work Experience : 3-4 years

Salary Range :

SAR 6,000 – 8,000 per month

Employment Type : Full-Time

About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented

Material Engineer

to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in preparing and managing

Material Technical Submittals (MTS) , ensuring all materials meet project specifications, consultant requirements, and industry standards and have joinery knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Review project specifications and BOQs to determine material requirements.

Prepare, compile, and submit Material Technical Submittals (MTS) for consultant / client approval.

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to collect technical data sheets, certificates, and samples.

Maintain and update the Material Submittal Log (MSL) and Material Tracker for all active projects.

Follow up on submitted materials and coordinate responses to consultant or client comments.

Ensure all submissions comply with project standards (e.g., LEED, fire rating, quality certifications).

Support the procurement team by confirming approved materials.

Collaborate with site and factory teams to ensure compliance with approved material specifications.

Requirements Education :

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience :

Minimum 3–4 years of experience in material submittal preparation within the joinery. Joinery knowledge in materials is a must for this role.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of material approval and submittal procedures.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

High attention to detail and quality.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF editing tools.

Understanding of health and safety best practices.
