To lead, manage, and oversee all workshop operations related to the maintenance, repair and compliance of company vehicles, ensuring the highest levels of fleet availability, safety regulatory adherence and cost efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage day to day operations of the workshop and supervise workshop staff
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles
- Ensure all trucks comply with regulatory standards
- Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and consumables in a cost effective and timely manner
- Monitor maintenance performance metrics such as downtime, repeat repairs, and part usage
- Implement and enforce safety, housekeeping and environmental standards in the workshop
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, service and inspections
- Provide technical support in the evaluation of fleet condition, replacement planning and procurement
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
Educational Qualifications and Certifications : Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology or related field.Knowledge : Strong understanding of diesel engines systems, heavy duty trucks, trailers and trailers . Familiarity with KSA vehicle compliance regulations . Good grasp of maintenance systems, preventative maintenance practices and inventory control.Technical Skills : Diagnostic tolls and workshop management systems . Microsoft office and Maintenance management systems proficiency . Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair guides.Language Skills : Proficiency in Arabic and English (Spoken and written).Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role managing a fleet workshop, preferably in logistics or transport.Key Interactions
