Finance Manager

Job Overview Oversees and streamlines the financial operations, with a particular emphasis and knowledge on project accounting, inventory management, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and Treasury functions. This role involves supervising the team (leading capabilities is must), ensuring accurate financial reporting, and optimizing processes to support company objectives and profitability. Plus, if the candidate has experience in military industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial month-end and year-end closing processes.

Manage the financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and profitability analysis.

Knowledge of dealing with banks.

Oversee and manage inventory accounting processes to maintain accurate financial records.

Collaborate with project team to provide insights into project performance and cost control.

Ensure accurate and timely project billing and revenue recognition.

Supervise the AR and AP teams to ensure efficient billing, collections, and payment processes.

Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Conduct variance analysis between actual performance and budget / forecast.

Oversee cash flow management and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.

Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, performance metrics, and opportunities for cost savings.

Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and management to maintain sufficient liquidity.

Manage banking relationships, negotiate terms, and coordinate financial products as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master degree, CPA, or CMA preferred).

10+ years of experience in a finance management role, particularly in service-based industries is preferred.

Experience in inventory management, project accounting, and overseeing AR and AP processes.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced Excel capabilities.

Solid knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
