Job Purpose / Objective
Responsible for installing, programming, configuring, commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, performing diagnostics, and repairing fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems as per set guidelines.
Description
- Check fire alarm systems including smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and other fire suppression equipment.
- Inspect buildings for fire hazards such as blocked exits or malfunctioning equipment.
- Review electrical layout blueprints to determine fire alarm system requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the review of electrical layout blueprints related to fire alarm systems.
- Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls to identify the source of the fire or malfunction.
- Maintain records of fire alarm system activity and fire safety measures.
- Regularly test and repair fire alarm and communication systems.
- Identify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring, including installing replacement parts.
- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
- Perform other tasks / duties within their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
