Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our pre-opening team at our new ultra-luxury wellness retreat resort. This role will focus on developing and managing partnerships with private clinics, wellness practitioners, medical travel facilitators, and specialized agencies , while driving sales performance within the wellness and health-focused segment. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of the wellness and medical travel landscape, and the ability to position the resort as a leading destination for transformative health and wellness experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the private clinic, wellness, and medical travel segment , in alignment with the overall resort commercial strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with private clinics, medical institutions, wellness facilitators, and referral partners in local and international markets.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities in the luxury wellness and preventive health space , including partnerships with medical tourism agencies and high-net-worth clients seeking tailored wellness experiences.
  • Represent the resort at trade shows, wellness forums, medical travel conferences, and luxury travel events , ensuring brand visibility within the target market.
  • Collaborate with the resort’s Wellness, Spa, and Guest Experience teams to design and promote unique, results-driven wellness retreat packages.
  • Manage client accounts through proactive engagement, site inspections, familiarization trips, and relationship management.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting on pipeline, conversion, and market trends.
  • Support the pre-opening phase by contributing to the development of sales collateral, wellness-focused offers, and distribution strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with the brand’s luxury service standards and deliver a guest-centric sales approach.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales, preferably in wellness resorts, medical tourism, or luxury spa destinations.
  • Strong network within private clinics, wellness, and medical travel markets in the GCC.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive luxury environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of wellness and preventive health trends , with the ability to translate them into commercial opportunities.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are an asset).
  • Experience in pre-opening projects is highly desirable.
  • High level of professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and understanding of ultra-luxury clientele expectations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally for client visits, sales trips, and trade events.
