Overview
Operates as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of Aloula Helicopters in support of company operations. He may also be assigned as PIC of Small Helicopters or Second-in-Command (SIC) of Medium Helicopters in support of company operations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for complete knowledge of operating procedures in aircraft assigned to operate. Assists Pilot-in-Command in carrying out the performance of his duty when assigned as Second-in-Command.
- Performs visual inspections to assure aircraft worthiness. Assures all documents are completed in compliance with Gov’t Regulations & company policy. Obtains flight clearances and weather reports to assure safe flight route or cancels flight if in his opinion safe weather conditions do not exist.
- Checks all paperwork related to his flight such as passenger and cargo manifests, routes and destination. Monitors loading / off-loading of passengers and cargo to assure no injury or damage occurs.
- Directs his crew members and passengers in case of any emergency to ensure that safety procedures are understood and successfully executed. Supervises and directs crew members in performance of their duties to ensure that functions are performed correctly.
- Pilots the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with established procedures set forth by Government Regulations, the aircraft manufacturer and company policy or guidelines.
- Trains and develops new Saudi Co-Pilots, or Captains-in-Training in accordance with FAA and company regulations.
- Advises the Aviation Manager, Helicopter Chief Pilot and Fleet Captain of anything which may impede safety of operation and performs additional flight or ground duties as assigned by the Aviation Manager, Helicopter Chief Pilot or Fleet Captain.
- Conducts Search and Rescue Operations offshore and / or onshore in Kingdom when tasked and conducts Emergency Medical Evacuation to transport patients to / from company or government hospitals in Kingdom or out of Kingdom as requested.

Knowledge and Experience : Special Field of Experience : 4000 helicopter flight hours
